I can't believe this is really the end of TAD 2011!
I have a birthday party to go to this evening, so today's thing is the fruit and dip I'm taking to the party. The dip is fat-free and sugar-free, so, basically just air and chemicals! :-)
It consists of 1 box of Jell-o sugar-free, fat-free cheesecake-flavored instant pudding, 3/4 cup of skim milk, and an 8 oz. container of Cool Whip Free.
Thanks to everyone who made my day by taking part. I will miss checking in daily to see all the fun stuff everyone has been doing.
See you next year!

These combine elements of two different pairs of earrings I did earlier this month: the ones with herringbone and the ones with the rippled edge. For some reason, these remind me of dragons.
This pair is all in different iris finished beads.

I've really fallen down on the job this week. Actually, I haven't fallen down on the job -- I've fallen down on the free time. It's the job that's keeping me from getting my daily thing done! I got really spoiled from six weeks of medical leave.
Anyhoo, I finished the goddess brooch, and here she is. She actually has a bail, too (hidden in her fringy hair), so she can also be worn as a pendant.

This is the start of a bead-embroidered goddess brooch.

I decided to make a pair of earrings using all matte iris-fihinshed beads. I like the way these turned out. I especially like the wavy effect at the bottom.
Le sigh. All my luxurious hours of creative time come to an end tonight. I've been on medical leave since the beginning of January and am returning to work tomorrow.

This is a pair of lizard earrings that a woman ordered from me at one of my winter art shows. I finished them today. She bought one of my lizard necklaces and wanted earrings to go with it.

Some of my beading buddies suggested I experiment with different backgrounds and props in my photos, so that's my thing today. I'm also using a new camera app that has a white balance feature, which really helps with color accuracy.

I spent most of the day getting my Artfire shop set up, so that's my thing for the day.
If you want to check it out, it's bebopbeads.artfire.com.

I finished the necklace I've been working on yesterday but didn't post a photo because I was not all that thrilled with it. Maybe it isn't really finished...
Today, I finished up a special order. I had the pendant complete and needed to make the matching earrings. The spiral edge of the earrings is embellished with cobalt blue fringe beads, which absolutely glow when the light hits them. I love cobalt blue glass. I think I was imprinted on Noxema jars at an early age.
